In conjunction with the 40 Days for Life, the Family Life Commission of Sacred Heart will once again hold "40 Hours for Life". The 40 Hours for Life will be held THIS week, March 8th - March 12th. During the week, we will celebrate Eucharistic Adoration for 8 hours each day, and a special Prayer Service will also be held. Sign-up sheets are available for you to sign up for adoration throughout the week and are located on the table in the foyer of the church. The following schedule has been set:

As we have in the past years, on Fridays during Lent we will have Stations of the Cross at 5:30 p.m. followed by a soup supper in the church basement. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to attend. The following groups and organizations have agreed to host a soup supper:
Mar. 5 Holy Family Circle
Mar. 12 Knights of Columbus (also having a Fish Fry)
Mar. 19 Queen Mary Circle
Mar. 26 Life Teen
We have had a good turn out in the past for this event, but would love to have even more people and more families attend this year. Come spend some time in prayer and then treat yourself to a night off from cooking. Also, you will enjoy the fun activity planned for the evening, which may be trivia, cards, games, etc. To find out, you will have to be there! Please join us at least once during this Lenten Season. |
