I have had a few people ask about the difference in time between for the First - Eighth Grade students verses the High School students for CCD.  We have typically met between 7:00 and 8:00 for CCD.  We will keep this time for the younger students (First - Eighth Grade).  However, the High School groups would really like some more time in order to do a few more things.  They will be meeting from 7:00 to 8:30.  While we did not want to short the older kids we also thought an hour and a half was too long for the younger children.  So, as a compromise to help make it more convenient for parents who have children in both groups, we have decided to keep the gym open and supervised until 8:30 so that children with high school siblings can stay and be picked up at the same time as the high school students.  I'm always there until 8:30 anyway and often I've had children there waiting for parents so hopefully this will work for families.  Please don't let the time difference be a reason to not have either your younger or older students involved!  It is a change but I hope a workable one so we can do what's best for each age group.  If you do have any questions please give me a call or email - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The 2010-2011 school year is off and running and it is now time to think about registering for CCD if you have not already done so.  If you missed registration after Masses on August 21/22 and August 28/29 forms are available for download on this website.  You may also pick up forms at the Sacred Heart Rectory during business hours.  CCD/Youth Faith Formation, for all students in the first through twelfth grades, who are not enrolled at Sacred Heart school will begin on September 8th.  If you have any questions please contact Laura Krejci at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
