March 26, 2010- Lenten Soup Supper-
We will be in charge of providing and serving soup after the Stations of the Cross. We will be asking parents to help with this along with their teenager. More information to come soon!
March 27-March 28, 2010- Diocese of Salina CYO Convention- Salina, KS-
This is a FUN and exciting weekend for all CYO groups. It gives the teenagers a chance to meet other teens around the area and in the Salina Diocese and will make memories that will last them a lifetime. Permission forms will need to be handed in with a $35 deposit by February 28, 2010 to Megan Augustine. The complete cost of the convention is $70 so you will be able to pay the last $35 before we leave for convention. The cost covers lunch Saturday and Sunday and hotel rooms.
Prayer and Action-
The dates of Prayer and Action have been released. This summer, Prayer and Action will be held in Concordia and Norton. Each week starts on a Sunday evening and will go until the following Friday. Here are the dates that we can choose from to go:

Prayer and Action will only cost each participant $30 for the entire week. Our deadline is May 1st for a deposit of $50 for the group and reservation, and then the $30 fee will be due two weeks before the week we decide to attend. For all those who are interested in Prayer and Action, we will be setting up a meeting to answer any questions and come up with what dates we can all attend at once.
August 6, 2010-August 8, 2010- Scott Lake Retreat 2010- (Tentative date)
The Scott Lake Retreat has been a great success for the past two years so we decided to keep it going and make it an annual event. This will be a weekend full of learning about the Catholic faith, fellowship, and a lot of fun. All groups in our area will be invited as well. You will not want to miss out on this great experience! We will have more information out at a later date. Also, there is a limited amount of room so if you want to go, please let us know as soon as possible. |
