 Baptism
Baptism for infants should be done shortly after birth (2-8 weeks). Contact the pastor to schedule the baptism. Baptisms can be performed during a Mass or at some other agreed upon time. During a Mass is preferred, but not required. Sunday is generally the day chosen for Baptisms, but that is not a requirement. If this is the first child, some baptismal instruction is required. The pastor will discuss this when you call to schedule the baptism.
ConfirmationAlthough a person could receive the Sacrament of Confirmation any time after receiving the Sacrament of Baptism, most dioceses and parishes have guidelines and offer the sacrament to those who have reach a certain age group and have been prepared (catechized) in the Catholic faith. Here at Sacred Heart the sacrament is offered to those in their junior year of high school.

MarriageThe Church requires that those planning to get married notify the priest of the intended Catholic marriage at least six months prior to the wedding date, so as to allow adequate time for assessment and preparation.
